Don Koulaouzos Completes International Space Business Development Program in Cyprus

Our researcher, Don Koulaouzos, has successfully completed the International Space Business Development Program, a prestigious 32-hour training course organised by the Cyprus Space Exploration Organisation (CSEO) in Nicosia, Cyprus.

The intensive program was designed to equip STEM professionals with a comprehensive understanding of the business aspects of the space sector, preparing participants to contribute to space enterprises either as entrepreneurs or as key members of the growing commercial space industry.

Throughout the course, participants explored the fundamentals of space business development, innovation, commercialisation and entrepreneurship. The program culminated in a practical challenge where each participant was required to develop a functional Space Business Plan and deliver a concise three-minute investor pitch.

The final presentations were evaluated by the President of CSEO, George Danos, together with our researcher. The top-performing teams received prizes, with the first-place winners being awarded our book, titled ‘The New Space Age - Legal and Policy Perspectives’.
