The Team of Győr Achieved Excellent Results at Prestigious Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot Court Competition

The Deák Ferenc Faculty of Law and Political Sciences of Széchenyi István University proudly participated in the 2026 European Regional Rounds of the Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot Court Competition, held in Poznań, Poland.

Representing the Faculty, students Ferenc Dákai and Rebeka Mercédesz Kozma delivered an outstanding performance at this highly competitive and prestigious event, where they had the opportunity to measure themselves against some of the best law student teams in Europe. Competing at such a high level, the Győr team demonstrated excellent preparation, strong legal reasoning and impressive advocacy skills.

The team was coached by Gábor Sulyok and Mónika Ganczer, with the support of Dorina Bosits, whose guidance and dedication played a key role in the team’s success throughout both the preparation period and the competition.

Participation in the moot court proved to be an exceptionally valuable professional and academic experience. Each stage of the competition contributed to the development of the team’s legal knowledge, strategic thinking and oral advocacy skills. The constructive feedback received from distinguished judges further enhanced the learning experience.
