Krisztina Tilinger, our researcher has been invited to a workshop at the World Maritime University (WMU) to talk about how to harness the blockchain technology for the implementation of international treaties. Among the participants of the Emerging Technologies and the Law of Sea workshop there were distinguished experts, both academics and professionals, from all around the world, as well as postgraduate students of the Maritime Affairs course of the WMU. The presentations and discussions were about how the emerging technologies can contribute to the development of the international law, mainly to the law of the sea and maritime law. The event was organized by WMU and Stockton Center for International Law at the U.S. Naval War College and partially sponsored by the Saudi General Transport Authority.
